The Zap Quarter of Silopi is currently under attack from all sides by “security” forces. Around thousand residents are in the quarter, who have no way out. All sections of the quarter are shelled by tanks, disregarding whether they have ditches or barricades on the streets or not. People struggling with hunger and thirst take shelter in the basements of their houses. No passages are allowed out of the blockade.
A similar attack has just been mounted against the Barbaros Quarter of the city.
