Our former Co-Chair Serpil Kemalbay has been detained yesterday in Ankara. Kemalbay kept alone in a cell, has announced that she began a hunger strike against this unjust and unlawful detention and prosecution.
Kemalbay's message through her lawyers is as follows:
"We will build a free, equal, democratic society where individuals do not submit to one another. We will struggle and establish together a life in peace. We will keep fighting inside and outside the prison. We will prevail, women will prevail, our peoples will win. With my genuine love and regards."
