We have been sadly informed of the death of Fidel Castro who dedicated his 90-year life for the Cuban and oppressed people's struggle for independence, socialism and revolution.
Fidel Castro, who was the closest comrade of the legendary revolutionary Che Guevara, was an inspiration not only to the Cuban people but everyone resisting dictatorships and fascists rule around the world.
Fidel Castro was a symbol of the struggle for equality and freedom, socialism, and resistance against oppression. He will forever be remembered for these efforts.
As the Peoples' Democratic Party, we offer our condolences to Fidel Castro's comrades, the Cuban people and all those fighting for Castro's ideals.
We will mourn the leader of the Cuban Revolution with respect.
